Virtual prototyping

Virtual prototyping involves a series of steps and methods used to design and develop a new product or optimize an existing product. Virtual prototyping is supported by a number of computer software that enable modeling, simulation and visualization of proposed products. The advantage of this approach is the minimization of the cost of physical prototypes and testing, as everything is simulated with the help of software. In these days, virtual prototyping is often complemented by the final 3D printing of products or components, which allows us to verify mechanical compatibility with other components.
